Jogja One Day Trip

This morning we drive for about 45 kms to the North to go to Magelang district. There you can explore the magnificent Borobudur temple. This temple is dating from the 8th century.
This was hugely built with around 60.000 cubic meters of stones in around 8th century and it is supposed to be the greatest Buddhist relics of South East Asia. The other two temples in the surroundings, Pawon and Mendut temple, will be visited afterwards.
Then we will admire the beauty of the highest Hindust temple in Indonesia called Prambanan temple. The main temple of Prambanan complex, Shiva temple, is artistically and architecturally the most perfect building with its 47 m height.

Upon arrival at arrival at the airport Yogyakarta, we are ready to meet you. Then we start the tour by visiting Borobudur temple. Along the way, our tour guide will tell you about Borobudur and Javanese society at the glance.
Arriving there we will directly climb up to the temple but first the tour guide will explain from the very beginning about the structure of the Borobudur temple. On the wall of the temple, we can find the story of Buddhist founder (Sidharta) and his life . Reaching the top of the temple where philophically you have reached
the heaven. Back to Yogya, on the way back we can make stop at Pawon & Mendut temple. Both 2 small temples have relation with Borobudur temple.
